Christmas 2025

Ring the bells for Christmas day! As it falls on a Thursday this year, we will deliver to everybody that week from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th. Thursday and Friday customers will receive further communication in the form of emails and a note in their box to tell them on which day they will receive theirs.

We will close from the 25th Dec to the 5th Jan. Fortnightly customers with deliveries the week of the 15th Dec will miss out on a veg-box for a whole 4 weeks! To avoid this you can add a one-off box for Christmas week - email us at hello@cambrigeorganic.co.uk.

Christmas box contents

22/12 update: due to our international pallets being stuck at the border, we currently do not have cauliflowers, courgettes, peppers, or vine tomatoes for Monday

For cauliflower: we will substitute red cabbage in our small boxes, and swede in our medium, large and giant boxes.

We will have all your favourite festive veg available for celebrations. Our plan for Christmas week boxes is as follows:

Small: potatoes (300g), carrots (250g), onions (250g), leeks (300g), cauliflower, parsnips (400g), sprouts (300g)

Medium: potatoes (600g), carrots (500g), onions (500g), leeks (300g), red cabbage, cauliflower, parsnips (400g), sprouts (300g)

Large: potatoes (900g), carrots (750g), onions (750g), leeks (450g), red cabbage, cauliflower, parsnips (600g), sprouts (450g), butternut squash

Giant: as above for large but plus five extra vegetables: mushrooms, celeriac, courgettes, peppers, tomatoes

If you've doubled up your box and got a 'Holiday' box for the week when we are closed, this will contain:

Small: Mushrooms, courgettes, peppers, tomatoes alongside your bases.

Medium: Mushrooms, celeriac, courgettes, peppers, tomatoes alongside your bases.

Large: Mushrooms, celeriac, courgettes, peppers, tomatoes, swede alongside your bases.

Giant: As you're getting most of the items we have in stock already, this is likely to be a double up of your first box!

We've tried to go for mainly familiar favourites (plus a couple extra seasonal UK items) for the week after Christmas.

8/12 update: small box contents have been updated to include cauliflower rather than red cabbage. 

Remember you can always add extra veg to your box by going to 'Add items to your order > Fruit and vegetables to add to your veg box'

Need extra fruit and veg to see you through the week when we are closed? Order a second ‘Holiday Box’ – with a 20% discount!

This box is in addition to your regular order and available to add now. All Original and OriginalPLUS customers will get the Christmas favourites (sprouts, parsnips etc) in their first box. The Holiday Box will have the same bases and some different produce items to see you through the week when we are closed (i.e.: not a repeat of the Christmas week box). Choice customers can purchase boxes that give them extra points with the 20% discount applied. These special boxes will be delivered on Christmas week.
