Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Introduction

Sweet and crispy golden Brussels Sprouts, a recipe to convert the picky eaters this season!

Very simple to make. We have used 'Hot Honey' from The Cambridgeshire Honey Company to give this dish an extra kick.

Serves 4

Ingredients
  • 400g Brussels Sprouts
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon honey

 

Method

Preheat oven to 210 C and set an oven rack in the middle position.

Trim the ends of the Brussels Sprouts and remove any tough outer leaves. Cut in half.

Toss the Brussels sprouts in a large bowl with the oil, the salt, and the pepper. Lay cut side down on a lined baking tray.

Roast, stirring once halfway through, until tender and golden brown, about 20 minutes.

Drizzle the roasted Brussels with the balsamic vinegar and honey. Toss to coat evenly. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary, then serve.
